Aurora, manifested as a bright landscape in space, can tell a lot about the relations between the ionosphere and magnetosphere. In this seminar, I will talk about the basics of aurora, including its origin and characteristics, and further more about other coupling processes within the ionosphere-magnetosphere system.

About the speaker
