ISSI Celebrates its 20th Anniversary

Since 20 years, ISSI served and inspired Space Scientists from around the world to meet and exchange ideas in Bern. It is so prestigious to come to ISSI, that the scientists even add a note in their CVs. This is already a reason to be proud of ISSI, an institute of advanced study of excellence. However, when ISSI turned 18, attaining full maturity, ISSI gave birth to a new institute with the same name, ISSI-Beijing, located at the same latitude but 8000 km away from Bern. The Vision from Johannes Geiss, the founder of ISSI, found its roots also in Asia. Therefore, we would like to thank ISSI and we wish many, many years of continued success and hope for an extension of our fruitful cooperation.
